: 예술의 중심에서 대중과 호흡하는 오케스트라
사단법인 뉴서울필하모닉오케스트라(구: 서울필하모닉)는 1991년 설립된 순수 민간교향악단으로 "대중 속에 사랑 받는 정통 오케스트라"라는 취지 아래 성악가 출신 김혜란 교수, 첼리스트 출신 김봉 교수 그리고 60여명의 유능한 연주자들이 모여 처음 연주 활동을 시작하였고, 1997년 안당 단장의 제2창단으로 새롭게 시작되었습니다. 2018년 창단 27년 이래 2,500여회 이상의 각종 정기연주회, 오페라공연 및 기회음악회를 개최하였으며, 그동안 198회의 민간교향악단 사상 최고 많은 횟수의 정기연주회와 매년 80회 이상의 공연을 하는 국내 최고의 정통교향악단으로 성장하였습니다. 또한 매년 수준 높은 곡을 채택하여 8여회의 정기연주회를 개최하여 클래식 애호가들에게 많은 호평을 받고 있습니다.

: 다양한 방식의 교향악운동 전개
2011년 대한민국 오페라 페스티벌 전 작품을 예술의 전당 오페라극장에서 연주하여 2010년과 2012년은 민간 오페라연합 협회로부터 오페라 반주 최우수 단체로 선정되어 수상을 하였습니다. 그리고 시리즈 음악회 "신인발굴음악회", "아티스트페스티벌"등을 통하여 클래식 음악을 이끌어 나갈 신인을 발굴 하고, 환경의 소중함을 일깨우는 양평 용문산 "환경 음악회", "무역센터 클래식 음악회", "해설 음악회 (오페라여행, 뮤지컬여행, 발레여행)"등을 연주하고 있으며 관객들을 직접 찾아가는 공단 및 기업음악회 등 다양한 공연을 개최하여 클래식 대중화를 주도하고 있습니다. 또한, 국가행사를 비롯하여 유능한 인재를 발굴하기 위한 일환으로 매년 서울필하모닉 콩쿠르도 개최하고 있습니다.

: 세계속으로 성장하는 정통오케스트라
2018년 사단법인 뉴서울필하모닉오케스트라(구: 서울필하모닉)는 창단 27주년을 맞이하였습니다. 울타리를 두르지 않은 넓은 들판처럼 앞으로도 세계음악시장의 진출을 도모하여 언제 어디서나 최고의 하모니를 느낄 수 있는 음악을 만들 것이며, 또한 누구나가 함께 즐길 수 있는 음악으로 취약 계층, 저소득층 및 소외계층을 대상으로 찾아가는 공연 서비스와 더불어 무료공연을 함으로서 청소년들에게는 수준 높은 음악예술의 혜택을 주며, 지역 간 문화의 불균형 격차를 해소하고 문화 복지사회를 구현하는 정통 오케스트라로 성장 해 나아 갈 것입니다.

: Orchestra in Harmony with the Public in the Center of Art
Seoul Philharmonic is a private symphony orchestra founded in 1991 and its initial performance was conducted by a vocal performer and professor Kim Hye Ran, a cellist and Professor Kim Bong and other 60 excellent players under the principle of "People's favorite legitimate symphony orchestra". In 1997, Seoul Philharmonic started anew as the second foundation led by Andang. Since its foundation for 27 years, this symphony orchestra has held a total of 2,500 concerts so far in 2018 including various regular concerts, operas and project music concerts. It has performed 198 regular concerts, which is a bigger number than any other private symphony orchestras' concerts, and plays more than 80 concerts annually, while having become Korea's best legitimate symphony orchestra. In addition, this orchestra chooses premier music every year for about eight regular concerts, which greatly satisfies classical music fans

: Symphony Movement in Various Ways
In 2011, Seoul Philhamonic played all pieces of the korean Opera in the Opera Theater at Seoul Arts Center. In 2010 and 2012, it was awarded the best opera accompaniment group prize by Private Opera Association. It holds diverse series of concerts: New Face Cultivation Concert and Artist Festival to cultivate new players who will lead classical music : Environment Concert at Mt.Yongmun in Yangpyeong to raise awareness of importance of environment, Trade Center Classical Concert and Narrative Concert consisting of Opera Journey, Musical Journey and Ballet Journey; and Industrial Complex and Corporate Concerts to meet with audience in person. In this way, Seoul Philharmonic has helped classical music to become popular by introducing a variety of concerts to people. In particular, this orchestra holds Seoul Philharmonic Concours as a part of cultivating talented people.

: Legitimate Orchestra Mingling with the World
2018 is the 27th year of the foundation of Seoul Philhamornic. Seoul Philharmonic will exert its best efforts to create the best melodic harmony at any time and anywhere, while seeking to step into the world’s music market. Moreover, it will be actively involved in realizing culturally social welfare by providing diverse concerts including free concerts for musical alienation class, low-in-come group and people in eed, giving teenagers an opportunity to experience high-class musical art, and visiting isolated areas in rural parts to relieve cultuarl imbalance between locations. Growth of Seoul Philharmonic will continue.
